Cassubian Airways Team Virtual Airlines (Cassubian VA for short) was founded in 2006. Its home is the Lech Walesa airport in Gdansk (EPGD). At the beginning we served in northern Poland using small turboprop planes. Due to the considerable increase of passengers number, in subsequent years we expanded our grid to now offer regular connections between major Polish and European airports.
With advanced logistics systems as well as a modern fleet, Cassubian VA is highly ranked by individual and institutional customers. Despite the problems affecting the airline industry, the line is constantly evolving. We provide services for regular and charter passenger transport, cargo transport, and since 2010 also VIP services. We have experienced team of pilots, which joined a common passion and vision to create a stable and respectable company in the industry. This did not prevent us from the friendship and cooperation.

The current state of the fleet is the result of years of work as an air carrier. Economic indicators and advanced statisticalsystems allowed us to fit the needs of individual and business customers, which directly affects the financial condition of the Company.

In the Cassubian VA welfare of our passengers and goods entrusted by clients is paramount. That is why we attach great importance to the competence of pilots.
Each pilot who starts work in Cassubian VA, as well as when advances through the ranks, must pass theoretical and practical exams. An additional requirement hours of on-line flights and a good knowledge and ability to use aircraft operating procedures. High competence of pilots is constantly monitored by a system for recording and evaluation of flights, which allows as to immediately identify any problems and help pilots to improve their skills.
We put high demands to candidates applying for jobs. We believe that fun is when we fly as real as it gets. We employ pilots who are able and willing to continually improve their skills by exploring procedures, manuals and maps.
Probably because of that the average age of our pilots is above 25 years, a quarter of employees are active controllers Polish virtual sky. And however age does not matter, we expect serious candidates and adult approach to the matter, the consequence of action and prove that your person will bring something in our environment. Therefore ¾ of applications that run off to us is thrown away. But we always inform candidates and try them to understand why we refused. Honesty at the beginning saves all the problems in the future.
Most of our pilots are enthusiasts. Some of them in their spare time fly real gliders, others opt for general aviation aircraft and C150. For employees Cassubian VFR club was established, under which airline events are organized. Participant in the VFR club can be any Cassubian pilot, who passed the appropriate exams and gained the permission to VFR flights. VFR fleet contains of planes that we like, including Antonov An-2, Cessna C-150 or ICP Savannah. Each club member may by himself purchase VFR aircraft, which he wants to fly. It is nice to visit grass strips of small aerodromes, and after a successful flight, full of unforgettable sights, sit together in the glow of the setting sun.
Pilots of Cassubian VA regularly participate in events organized by both the air PL-VACC, as well as other divisions VATEUD and friendly airlines. We also organize regular events related to the existence of successive anniversaries of Cassubian VA and promoting the airport in Gdansk. Events organized by us are intended to promote good practice and aim primarily to fill the virtual sky.
Our events are also held in the real world, with all kinds of airshows. These meetings confirm that we are united by something more than a virtual passion. The talks were often about life, not about increasing airport charges. Join us and let us know you!
Cassubian VA publishes the monthly Virtual Pilot (in polish) and quarterly Virtual Pilot Quarterly (in english) dedicated to virtual aviation. Here you can find the presentations of interesting routes, approaches to the airports, reviews of Flight Simulator add-ons, tips for application configuration, reports of the real and virtual air events, presentations of aircrafts, as well as regular columns. Monthly magazine is published since 2010. It is available to all interested parties on our website. Everyone is welcome to send articles to polish or english edition. Share your experiences - write!
We provide continuous monitoring of flights performed using FSACARS system. We use statistics to improve the route network or making decisions about changes in the fleet.
